About the Role

This role reports to the Head of Informatics and has responsibility for managing the Group Investment Fund and ensuring that there is a strong link between the finance and international operations team through business partnering with the COO and regional support teams.  The role will be a key participant in the global business planning cycle, providing support to regional and country finance teams throughout the process and working on analysis which allows the ET to understand and challenge the business plan.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Experience in reporting and analysis is essential
  • Experience of influencing senior stakeholders is essential
  • Experience of managing donor funded businesses is essential
  • Experience with international operations programme management is essential
  • Experience of communicating complex processes and principles to colleagues in a clear manner
  • Financial systems and database experience are desirable
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines and managing conflicting priorities.

Skills:

  • Good numerical and analytical skills using Excel
  • Effective communicator and ability to explain complex processes and principles to colleagues remotely and with people who are less confident in English language
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to juggle multiple pieces of work simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong team player.

Location: London Support Office

Full-time: 35 hours

Contract type: FTC, up to 12 months (maternity cover)

Salary: £39,700 - £46,500 + discretionary bonus + benefits
