The role

The Regional Programme Officer will contribute to the fulfilment of MSI Reproductive Choices mission by facilitating effective project management, financial and narrative reporting and compliance, and contributing to the development of strategies to improve capacity in our country programmes in the ESA region.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Demonstrated administrative, finance and programme management experience
  • Experience of working in an overseas location (preferably a developing country)
  • Knowledge of donor regulations, policies, and procedures
  • A knowledge of reproductive health care (desirable).

Skills:

  • Ability to work in a diverse and inclusive environment, respecting and collaborating with all individuals equally, and with a commitment to overcome bias and prejudice
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to organise and present information in a compelling way
  • Ability to design, implement and monitor effective project management, including a solid understanding of donor budget management
  • Understanding of, and ability to write and edit donor proposals and reports.

Location:  London Support Office or MSI Country Programmes

Full-time: 35 hours

Contract type: Permanent

Salary: £34,000 - £40,000 UK salary range or Country Programme salary range

For internal staff applying from an MSI country programme, the role will be positioned within the existing salary structure of the country. Local terms and conditions of the country will apply.
