The role

Vasectomy Care Assistant (Clinical qualification not required)

The position of Vasectomy Care Assistant provides a variety of tasks as you will work within a small team to support our clients putting them at ease whilst providing high quality care in our clinical settings. We are committed to providing safe and effective services to our clients and through continued personal development we will support you in becoming the best that you can be through a comprehensive training programme.

  • Working only Saturdays, this role would be a perfect opportunity to boost your household income!
  • You will provide men with support and advice on sexual and reproductive health which includes family planning, vasectomy, and health
  • As a Vasectomy Care Assistant, you will provide exceptional customer service to our clients
  • You will be non-judgemental and confidential in order to provide a non-biased service
  • You will be checking in clients and providing aftercare advice in a GP surgery based location

To succeed in this role, you must have:

Skills:

  • A high attention to detail with excellent organisation skills to meet multiple or conflicting demands
  • IT literate; familiar with Windows applications and Microsoft Office Packages
  • Experience of providing administrative support (essential)
  • Experience of working with the public
  • Experience in a healthcare setting (desirable)
  • Experience of working as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Be able to work under pressure

Hours: 9.5 hours per week

Contract type: Permanent

Salary: £19,350 FTE
