Location: Stoke Gifford, Bristol – accessible via public transport and located off the M32. Close to local train station, small retail park and amenities

Contract type: Permanent, 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday with no unsociable hours. Expectation to be weekend on-call at least once monthly

Salary: £42,600.51 - £46,860.56 dependant on experience

What is a Clinical Services Matron?

This is a unique role where the role's primary focus is to provide robust and effective visible leadership and management for the centre ensuring high quality safe and effective care in line with national and local guidance. You will support the Senior Clinical Services Matron, Regional General Manager and the remainder of the centre management team in Bristol.

The Bristol centre is the South West and Midlands hub looking after 16 Community Treatment Centres which provide Termination of Pregnancy and Vasectomy services to our clients within the Region. You will be a visible and proactive clinical leader providing professional and management support to the Clinical Team Leaders to encourage and ensure their development.

You will have a current Nursing and Midwifery Council PIN and will share our vision of making choice a reality for everyone. You must be pro-choice on abortion and an advocate of our mission ‘Your Body, Your Choice, Your Future’.

As a CSM, you will be provided with a bespoke training package tailored to your clinical experience and to equip you in delivering a high standard of safe and effective abortion care to our clients. Previous experience of working within sexual and reproductive health is not a requisite of this role.
