About the role

Day-to-day you will prepare clinical areas for each list and ensure they are kept tidy throughout the day as well as eventually progressing to providing our clients with abdominal ultrasound scans and consultations (training will be provided). There are many opportunities for the right individual who is motivated and wished to take on additional responsibilities. We offer a varied range of clinical courses and e-learning programmes to enable you to play a vital role alongside our trained nurses and doctors in the care of women and young adults seeking help and support.

 

About you

In order to be successful in the role you will:

    • Have completed your Level 3 NVQ (highly desirable)
    • Currently be working as a Healthcare Assistant either within the NHS or privately (essential)
    • Be pro-choice on abortion
    • IT literate - word, excel and experience of learning an in-house system is advantageous
    • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Be an active problem solver
    • Have an organised mindset and empathetic yet resilient nature
    • Flexible and willing to travel to other centres in the region when required.

Salary: £13 p/h
